Background
CCM was established in 1979 as a non-profit self-help organization by Cambodians who had always wanted to serve their fellow people. The organization's target population is the 15,000 Cambodian refugees in the greater Boston and north shore areas of Massachusetts, most of whom were settled in the late 1970s and 1980s.

Mission/Goals
Assist the Cambodian people with integration into American society by promoting self-sufficiency, well-being and cross-cultural understanding.

Services
ESL classes, citizenship assistance, career development/job seeking skills training, job placement and other services that promote self-sufficiency. In addition, CCM works to promote Cambodian culture through Khmer literacy classes and cultural events.
